OUTCOME: The California ISO implemented transmission service and market scheduling priorities phase 1 (TSMSP1) on June 1, 2022. The TSMSP1 implementation benefits market participants by extending the current, interim wheeling through scheduling priorities framework valid to May 1, 2024, by providing additional visibility of the non-RA capacity for supporting resources (including applicable notifications), by providing clarifications regarding high priority exports (PT exports) from Variable Energy Resources (VER), by publishing additional relevant and requested data and information, and by consolidating of terms applicable to exports and wheels.
